About the Project:

The eclectic living and dining rooms in this townhome were in need of a new direction. The homeowner requested a calm, but polished, space with a touch of glamour.

To accomplish this request, a palette was selected of watery blues and greens set against a backdrop of soft browns and creamy whites. Three out of the four walls in both the living and dining rooms were painted in a soft sandy brown, whilst the fourth wall was treated with a wallcovering in the same background colour, but displaying a beautiful glittery leaf pattern that provides the perfect amount of glamour for these focal walls.

Furnishings were designed to be contemporary in feel but with classic lines, upholstered in creamy white fabrics. Lighting is contemporary and dramatic, while the accessories (including rug, art and throw cushions) reinforce the tranquil theme in serene greens and blues. All the while still providing contrast against the more neutral background - a welcome respite after a busy day.
